Activate SAML SSO Configuration

Rewatch provides Single Sign-On (SSO) and SCIM Provisioning functionality for customers to access it through Azure AD, Google & Okta

Automate User Provisioning via SCIM with Okta

This allows IT administrators to better manage team access and keeps information more secure. Here are the full instructions on how to achieve this.

Rewatch supports the following SCIM features:

  • Push New Users

New users created through Okta will also be created in Rewatch.

  • Push Profile Updates

Updates made to the user’s profile through Okta will be pushed to Rewatch.

  • Push User Deactivation and Reactivation

Deactivating the user or disabling the user’s access to the application in Okta will deactivate the user in Rewatch. Note that deactivating a user means removing access to login, but the user’s profile and associated content (comments, uploaded videos) will continue to remain in Rewatch.

  • Import and Push Groups

Updates to group memberships can be automatically synced to a Rewatch SAML group.

PRO TIP: It is recommended to set-up SAML & SCIM provisioning via groups but wait to push any new users until the green flag is given from your platform administrators as they are consecutively working on the internal structure and launch plan.

Manual User Provisioning

You can invite your team manually via email address or allow anyone with an email at your domain to join the account.

Here are the full instructions on how to invite team members to join your channel.

Enable Zoom

If you’re an Admin you can connect your Zoom Pro, Business, or Enterprise plan’s cloud recordings to any collection and have them automatically organized and transcribed. This will also allow your channel’s members to also sync and import their own recordings from Zoom.

Here are the full instructions on how to sync Zoom cloud recordings to Rewatch.

Enable Google Drive

If you’re an Admin you can allow Members to connect their Google Drive and import their video files. They can also sync their Google Meets recordings to any collection and have them automatically organized and transcribed.

Here are the full instructions on how to upload videos directly from Google Drive to Rewatch.

Enable Slack

If you’re an Admin you can connect your Slack channels to any collection and notify your team when there are new videos.

Here are the full instructions on setting up Rewatch notifications in Slack.
