All videos that are added to your Rewatch channel will use the default template. While this means you don't have to do anything to start using AI Notes Templates, it also means you may be missing out on the full potential of Rewatch's AI capabilities.
Notes templates can be changed in a few different ways, depending on how many videos you want to affect.
Setting Templates with Automations
Using meeting automations, you can change the notes template for entire categories of videos on your channel. For example, if you have an automation set up to record all sales calls, you can add the "Sales call" template action, which will change the template for all future videos recorded via this automation.
To add a notes template to a personal automation, you can:
Navigate to your
Meetingspage on the left-hand navigationSelect the automation you wish to add a notes template to
In the
Actionssection of the automation, select the notes template you wish to use
Channel administrators can add notes templates to the automations for the entire channel or specific groups. Here's how:
Navigate to the
Automationstab via the left-hand sidebar navigationSelect the automation you wish to add a notes template to

Actionssection of the automation, select the notes template you wish to use

Setting Templates for a Meeting
Notes templates can be adjusted at the meeting level, even if the meeting is being recorded using an automation. This allows for finer control over the notes templates being used, without impacting the automation.
To set a template for a meeting, you can:
Navigate to your
Meetingspage on the left-hand navigationSelect the meeting that you wish to adjust the template of
Use the notes template dropdown selector to choose the template you wish to use
Once a notes template is set, all future recordings of this video will use the updated template. To update the content for older videos, see below for how to change the template at the video level.
Changing Templates for a Single Video
Anyone with editing access to a video can change a video's notes template. This will update the content for the video, but will not impact any automations or meeting settings being used to record the video.
To change the notes template for a video, you can:
Navigate to the video you wish to change the notes template for
Select the
Overviewtab to view the video's AI contentHover over the template name at the top and click on the dotted menu
Select
Change templatefrom the menu and choose the desired notes templateClick
Save
Alternatively, the notes template can also be updated via the video's details page:
Navigate to the video you wish to change the notes template for
Click on the dotted menu button in the top right
Select
