Stay on top of new videos, comments, and highlights in your channel by connecting Rewatch to your Discord server.

Connect Discord to Rewatch

Navigate to the ⚙️ Admin Console at the bottom of the left-hand navigation menu.
Click Integrations on the left-hand menu.
Click Connect Discord for the Discord integration.
In the pop-up Discord window, select the server you'd like to add Rewatch to.
Click Authorize to allow the bot to send and manage notifications, as well as configure the /Rewatch slash commands you'll be using to configure your bot.

PRO TIP: You can follow this direct link to access the Integrations page and set up your Discord connection to Rewatch and skip steps 1 and 2!

NOTE: In order to properly connect the company-wide Discord integration, you'll need to have administrative permissions within the server you're connecting Rewatch to. This applies to both the company-wide integration and the user-based integration.

Connect your Discord User Account

In order to be able to use slash commands on Discord with the user-based integration, you'll need to connect your user account.

In Rewatch, click on your name on the top left-hand corner of the page.
Select Integrations from the drop-down menu.
Click Connect Discord for the Discord integration.
Follow the instructions provided by Discord to authorize your account.

PRO TIP: You can also use /Rewatch login within the Discord server to set this up!

Set Up Discord Notifications for Rewatch Collections

Once you've connected your Discord user account, you can use /Rewatch slash commands on Discord to set up notifications for specific collections and notify your team when there are new videos or activities (such as highlights and comments) in those collections.

If you're a collection editor, here's how you can set up notifications for a collection:

In Discord, navigate to the channel that you'd like to receive the notifications in.
Type /Rewatch subscribe.
Begin typing the name of the collection or series you want updates from.
Click on the name of the collection or series, then press Enter on your keyboard.
Select if you'd like to disable notifications for videos, highlights, and/or comments.

PRO TIP: If you'd like to notify a private Discord channel, be sure to add the Rewatch bot to that specific channel using Discord's permission settings for private channels.

If you'd like to have notifications for more than one collection or series, you can repeat these same steps for each one.

NOTE: After Discord channels are connected, you can visit the Edit collection page on Rewatch to disconnect any channels and/or update their settings, or you can use the slash command /rewatch settings in the connected Discord channel.
