Once a series has been created, there are several ways to add a video.
Create a video using the Rewatch desktop screen recorder
Rewatch has built a desktop screen recorder that enables you to record your screen, create a custom slide presentation, create a GIF, or even just upload a video from your computer. Here’s how to use the screen recorder to add a video to a series:
Open the screen recorder on your computer
Select the type of video you want to add. You can choose to record your screen, record a canvas (create a lightweight presentation), or upload a video. Note that at this time, you cannot upload a GIF to a series.
Record or select (if uploading a video) your video.
When finished recording, select “Add to series” and select the series you would like to upload to. Only the series that you are a contributor to will appear in this list.
Click “Post video” to upload your video.
Create a video using the Rewatch mobile app
The Rewatch mobile app is a great option for recording and uploading quick videos, screen-shares, and canvas presentations. Here’s how to use the mobile app to add a video to a series:
Download and install the mobile app (available on both iOS and Android)
Select the type of video you want to add. You can choose to record your screen, upload a video, or – if you’re using the iOS app – create a camera + slide recording. (This is coming to Android soon!)
Record or select (if uploading a video) your video.
When finished recording, select “Add to series” and select the series you would like to upload to. Only the series that you are a contributor to will appear in this list.
Click “Post video” to upload your video.
Directly upload a video to Rewatch
If you already have a video that you want to upload to a series, you can do so directly from the Rewatch website. Here’s how:
Open the series you want to upload to.
Click the “Add video” button at the top of the screen
Click “Add a video from your device”
Browse and select the video you want to add to the series
